Synopsis

"I.M.Yoni" chronicles the inspiring journey of musicians in Latin America who defy discrimination based on gender, race, and sexuality, crafting music that serves as a beacon of empowerment and social change. Led by Estefani Brolo, the visionary singer-songwriter-producer of "Patterns," alongside Ana Rizo, the Mexican 'Fender' guitar virtuoso, and Ximena Duggan, the renowned reality star turned drummer, this collective challenges the status quo of an industry rife with inequality.

Against the backdrop of a region where LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly Latinas, face disproportionately high rates of violence and marginalisation, "I.M.Yoni" sheds light on the struggles and triumphs of those who refuse to be silenced.
