PHIL GROVES
Phil grew up on the Isle of Man and began his creative journey studying Media at the University College Isle of Man in 2009, where he specialised in film and photography.
He started his career shooting music videos for bands before breaking into the film industry as a gaffer on short films and corporate projects. Transitioning into cinematography, Phil developed a strong passion for colour grading, which has become a key storytelling tool in his visual work.
More recently, Phil has been instrumental in building a new video production company in Wales, where he works as Head of Commercial, combining his roles as Producer, Director of Photography, and Colourist. To date, he has worked across a wide portfolio of films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries, bringing both creative and technical expertise to every project.
