PHIL GROVES
Phil grew up on the Isle of Man and studied Media at the University College Isle of Man in 2009 where he focused on film and photography.
Phil started his career shooting music videos for bands before getting his foot in the door in the film industry working as a gaffer on short films and corporate videos. As he began shooting as a cinematographer, he quickly saw the importance of colour grading and has since used this as a storytelling tool in his cinematography.
More recently he has helped build a new video production company based in Wales as the Head of Commercial working as a Producer, Director of Photography, and colourist. To date, Phil has shot a range of films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries.
