Erika was born in Brazil, and raised in Ecuador. She became a recognised audiovisual producer in her early 30's, gaining international experience in T.V, commercials and film.
Erika's first major job in T.V. was working with an international company named, "Cellcast," to which she directed and produced a T.V. show called, “Insomnia”, in Ecuador. She eventually, got transferred to Brazil in 2006-2007, for her excellent work. Until now, Erika has produced hundreds of commercials, more than ten short-films; one of the most important was called, “Soñar (Dreaming)" in 2011, which was aired as an Official Selection at Cannes. She has also worked on the following films, "La Llamada (On the Line)", 2013 and "Flores Negras (Dark Flowers)", 2015, “Zuquillo Express”, 2009 and most recently, “Island of the Dolls", an international production, between UK, Canada and Mexico.
These last few years with inspiration and dedication, Erika continues to follow her ambition with directing, not only with music videos, which she directed and produced in Argentina for a well-known Ecuadorian group called, Equilivre. She continued her work with her first short film, “Pill or Die", filmed in Los Angeles with hopes of festival success, and as an Assistant Director on Latin American / Canadian-feature film, 'El Suspiro Del Silenco' which was distributed successfully.
