Emma is from South Wales, in the United Kingdom. Her acting background began on stage, participating in theatre shows in both Wales and on the Fringe circuit in London. Experimenting with writing, producing, directing as well as performing, she completed her first film, 'Joie de Vivre' in Vancouver, which has won several awards to date.
After writing her first feature film, 'Amy & Sophia', both the script and film won several awards, granting her a 'Producer’s Guild of America' credit. Emma continues to write and produce projects, including Mexican feature film, ‘Island of the Dolls' with Isela Vega. Along with her debut children's book, ‘Noah's Yacht,’ collaborated with French artist, Julie Murat.
Developing projects include documentaries about a Welsh healer and a Latin American collective, along with a coming-of-age feature about a Mexican ballet dancer. She also works within the casting department for many T.V. / Film productions based in British Columbia.
